These are tiny green, red or yellow microorganisms that stay on the underside of the leaves, wherein they suck the plant’s juices. To treat this infestation, the use of isotox and orthene is very effective.
  • Weak and Spotted Leaves with Small White Webs – Aphids are a common bug or pest that affects the growth of the rose. They are usually red, green or brown that live under the flower buds and leaves. They suck the plant’s juices from young buds. To exterminate the aphids, the use of diazinon and malathion spray is very effective.
  • Deformed or Unopened Flowers – In case the flower of the rose is deformed or unopened, thrips can be the culprit here. They are brown or yellow and slender bugs that can suck juices from the buds. To prevent this pruning and discarding the contaminated flowers and spray them with malathion and orthene to treat the problem.
